This brown button is the button I never had. I always wanted to own a brown winter coat with big, wooden buttons on it. I never did. My best friend had a wonderful coat with many, many toggles on it. I was not jealous. She was my best friend. However, I would have loved to have had one also. Then we could have had button coats each. And people would be able to refer to us as the ‘button coat’ pair.
